With a dominant performance in the second and third quarter, Panathinaikos easily beat Cedevita on the road (60-78), as Miroslav Raduljica was unstoppable (21 points, on 9 of 11 shooting).

This was the third win for the visitors (3-3), whereas the hosts suffered their fourth defeat (2-4).

For the winners, Nick Calathes made a double-double (10 points, 10 assists), with James Gist adding 10 points and seven rebounds. On the other hand, Fran Pilepic scored 16 points (on 4 of 7 from the three-point range) for the losing squad.

Panathinaikos made a better start to the game (8-14) and retained its advantage until the end of the first quarter (13-18), playing excellent defence.

Later, the situation remained the same. The visitors continued to execute very well on both ends of the floor and quickly extended their lead to double digits (16-27, 18-32). With the Croatians being unable to fight back, the Greens easily earned a 17-point advantage after 20 minutes in the game (22-39).

In the second half, Sasa Djordjevic’s players went on a 6-17 run and never looked back (28-56), as the hosts were playing very badly, both offensively and defensively. Consequently, the third quarter ended with Panathinaikos in front by 24 (36-60).

In the fourth quarter, things didn’t change much (41-66, 53-76), as Cedevita couldn’t make a big come-back, with the Greek team claiming an easy, yet crucial, victory on the road (60-78).
