A day that was fitting for some quite prolific scoring… with a specific player throwing no less than 40 on his opponents

A day that was fitting for some quite prolific scoring by most teams that celebrated victories. Unics Kazan (17-2) played an overall excellent game on the road against Avtodor Saratov (9-8), getting the win that keeps them second in the standings, right behind CSKA Moscow (18-1). With 25 assists and a bombardment from downtown (16/29), coach Pashutin and his players often made their opponents look helpless.

Quite the offensive game for Khimki (15-4) as well that wasn’t only searching for a win, after 3 consecutive defeats (2 in Euroleague and 1 in VTB) but also for a sound 40 minute performance. Fatefully, Astana (6-13) was victimized, since Egor Vyaltsev wore a… Stephen Curry costume, finishing the game with 12/17 3point shots. Insane.

At the same time, Riga (5-14) made up for last week’s defeat at home (being the one making a comeback now) and Krasny (8-11) had an easy job against Enisey (6-13).
