No one is left unbeaten! Zeljko Obradovic was defeated at his old home, OAKA, as Panathinaikos got the 76-71 win over Fenerbahce.

With the game tied at 58, the Greens got the advantage with a 8-2 run (66-60) and when Fenerbahce got near (68-64), Antonis Fotsis with a vintage three pointer gave a seven points lead to Panathinaikos (71-64). The guests answered with a 7-1 run which ended with a three by Bobby Dixon (72-71). The Greens however didn’t lose their lead, Elliot Williams made a big shot (74-71), Bogdan Bodganovic missed a three and Williams with two free throws sealed the final outcome.

The new addition of Panathinaikos was the top scorer of the team with 14 points, Miroslav Raduljica had 13 points and Dimitris Diamantidis added 6 points and 7 assists. Ekpe Udoh had one more amazing game for Fenerbahce (19 p., 7 r., 3 bl.), Bobby Dixon added 16 points and Jan Vesely had 12. However in a game of details, the guests missed the big shots at the end.

It was a close game from start to finish even if Fenerbahce had a better start and led with 20-15 after the first quarter. However at half time the score was tied (36-36) and Panathinaikos led just by two after 30 minutes of action (55-53). Fenerbahce with a 7-1 record is still on top of the group standings, while Panathinaikos (5-3) got a crucial win in the playoffs race.
