Bernard James is expected to be the new addition in Galatasaray‘s roster. The Turkish club was in the market for a big man and the former Dallas Mavericks center is their man.
James just finished his season in the Chinese CBA and for the first time will play in Europe. Born in 1985 he was the number 33 pick of the 2012 draft, because he was enlisted in the United States Air Force while still 17 years old. He return to college and he was drafter when he was already 27 years old. He has played a total of 92 NBA games during three seasons with the Mavericks.
James will not be eligible to play in Eurocup, so he can help Galatasaray only in its domestic BSL league. Turkish reporter Ismail Senol was the first to report the news.
