The GM of the Sixers, Sam Hinkie, confirmed that Dario Saric is ready to make the jump and play next season in the NBA, leaving Anadolu Efes and Europe behind him.
As he said to ESPN Senior Writer Zach Lowe for the latest episode of the Lowe Post podcast series: “I think he’s very excited to begin his NBA career. We’re in frequent communication with him. It’s not a full-time job, but it’s a part-time job for a lot of us, including me. He’s delayed his NBA career, and I don’t think is going to want to delay it a whole lot longer. He’s one of the best players in the world not playing in the NBA. Most people want to scratch that itch and measure yourself and see where you stack up against the best players in the world.”
