With Russell Westbrook scoring 36 points, the Oklahoma City Thunder beat the Dallas Mavericks 118-104 and qualified to the semi-finals (4-1), where they will face the San Antonio Spurs, with Gregg Popovich’s team having the home-court advantage.

Westbrook also had 12 rebounds and nine assists, coming very close to another double-double, with Dirk Nowitzki saying that “it’s almost impossible to stop him, he is probably the best backcourt rebounder.”

The legendary German player had 24 points and the question now is whether he will return to Dallas for another season, as Zaza Pachulia scored 12 points and dished nine assists for the losing squad.

Apart from Westbrook, the Thunder saw Kevin Durant score 33 points, on 11 of 24 shooting, with Steven Adams adding 15 points and 10 boards.
