They did it again! After entering the playoffs by “breaking” the home-court advantage of Pistoioa, Venezia has now done the same in the semifinals, by overpowering and absolutely shocking Olimpia Milano 84 – 77 on the road.
Led by Mike Green and his 16 points, 6 assists and 4 rebounds, Venezia dominated Milano 28 – 10 in the third quarter, entering the final period with a lead of 13 points, 66 – 53. The hosts tried to turn the tables but their efforts were futile. Rakim Sanders finished with 28 points, plus 6 rebounds for Milano.
