German Bundesliga reigning champions Brose Baskets showed their steel at home during the first semifinals game against Bayern Munich by easily winning 88 – 73.

The team from Bamberg never lost the reins of the game, being always ahead in the score, most of the time with a double-digit point differential. And every time Bayern Munich attempted to draw closer, they easily increased their distance.

Having as many turnovers as assists (14/14), the Bavarians could not find enough balance in their game to counter their opponents’ well orchestrated offense.

Bradley Wanamaker and Janis Strelnieks scored 15 points each for the victors, while Darius Miller dropped 14 of his own. John Bryant was the top performer of Bayern with 17 points, plus 7 rebounds.
