Not only will we have a new Turkish Basketball Super League champion, but a series of derbies in the semifinals. Not only will we have a new Turkish Basketball Super League champion, but a series of derbies in the semifinals. After reclaiming the home-court advantage from Pinar Karsiyaka, Galatasaray won 77 – 62  in “Abdi Ipekci” and advanced to the next stage of the playoffs where it will meet no other than Fenerbahce.

Blake Schilb (15 points, 5 assists) and Errick McCollum (12 points, 6 assists) “fed” their Galatasaray‘s offensive engine with scoring and creation for their teammates, but the “CimBom” were quite focused in defense as well, shutting down their opponents’ main weapons and forcing them to shoot poorly.

Only Kenny Gabriel (16 points, 9 rebounds) and Can Altintig (14 points) scored in double-digits for Pinar Karsiyaka which wasn’t competitive enough to fight against its hosts.

Turkish Basketball Super League Semifinals:

Anadolu Efes – Darussafaka Dogus

Fenerbahce – Galatasaray
