“Not in my house” said Unics Kazan to CSKA Moscow in the third Final for the VTB League. With a 79 – 74 victory, the players of coach Pashutin made the 2-1 in the series, avoiding to fail victims of a sweep and renewing the appointment with their opponents for a fourth match.

Keith Langford led his team in every statistic category with 29 points (albeit with 7/20 from the field), 8 rebounds and 4 assists, while Kostas Kaimakoglou had a solid game of 11 points and 5 rebounds.

But the biggest weapon of the winners was their defense. Unics forced CSKA Moscow to shoot with 21/59 from the field. The usually remarkable scoring strength of the Euroleague champions was nowhere to be found.

The duo of Nando De Colo (20 points) and Milos Teodosic (17 points, with 3/11 shots and 7 assists) combined for half their team’s output.
