CSKA Moscow won the VTB League championship, the best season in the history of the club since 2008 in in the books and club president Andrey Vatutin admitted that very few things will change in the summer.

As he explained: “After the victory in the Euroleague, winning the VTB United League was the logical conclusion of the season. It’s great that we won the so-called “triple crown” this year.

Two years ago, when the club hired Dimitris Itoudis, we decided that we needed more continuity. We wouldn’t change everything every summer, we decided to form a team not having in mind only one season, but a longer horizon. Now I see that our plans worked. So in the upcoming offseason there will be no big changes in the composition of CSKA“.

And with CSKA winning its 15th consecutive domestic league championship title, what else could they do? Of course the big question remains the future of free agent Nando De Colo, who may return to the NBA.
