Just three days after the announcement of the initial Greek national team pre-selection, one players is forced out of the team due to injury.

Kostas Papanikolaou will not be able to play in the upcoming pre-Olympic tournament of Turin, Italy, due to an ankle injury. To be exact, a bone edema was revealed after medical test, coach Fotis Katsikaris was informed and the decision is announced today.

With Papanikolaou out, the Greek team roster stands at this point at 15 players and three more have to be cut before the start of the tournament.
