After parting ways with Sasa Obradovic, Alba Berlin has been searching all available options regarding who is going to be the team’s new head coach.
According to Eurohoops sources, Turkish coach Ahmet Caki appears to be a heavy favorite to be sit at the bench of Alba Berlin and is already in advanced talks with the club. 40-year old Caki assumed head coach responsibilities in Anadolu Efes, after the departure of Dusan Ivkovic, leading the team to the Turkish finals.
He is regarded as one of the best coaches of his generation with modern views and ideas on basketball.
At the moment, there is no final agreement between the two sides. Ahmer Caki will travel to Germany soon in order to further discuss a possible two-year deal with the management of Alba Berlin.
