Anton Gavel and FC Bayern Munich decided to extend their agreement until June 2018. The Slovakian player averaged 5.8 points, 1.8 rebounds and 18 minutes in 10 games during the previous Euroleague season.
The 31–year–old point guard joined Bayern in 2014, coming from Brose Baskets. In the past he has played in Chemosvit (Slovakia), Aris (Greece), Murcia (Spain), Giessen 46ers and Karlsuhe in Germany. He is also part of the German national team.
