It can’t get much better than leading by 30 points after 8 minutes. That’s what happened as Serbia destroyed Puerto Rico 108-77 in the final of the pre-Olympic tournament of Belgrade and got the ticket to Rio.

The players of coach Sasha Djordjevic started the game with a 37-7 lead and that was enought. It was a display of amazing basketball with Serbia making 13 out of 17 field goals while dishing 13 assists.

The hosts of the tournament led even by 39 points (81-42) with Bogdan Bodganovic scoring 26 points and also finishing with 8 assists. Nikola Jokic was also amazing with 23 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists and was named MVP of the tournament.

J.J.Barea scored 22 points for the losing side and Carlos Arroyo added 16, however Puerto Rico never got into the game. The great start of Serbia proved too much for the Americans.
