Adam Waczynski has signed an offer sheet with with Unicaja Malaga for the next three years and now both sides have to wait until the 22nd of July in order for the transaction to be completed.
Obradoiro has the right of “tanteo” to the player – the Spanish version of the restricted free agency – however it seems unlikely for Obradoiro to match, even if the proposed contract includes an opt out option after the second year. Waczynski played for two seasons in Obradoiro and he is expected to replace Mindaugas Kuzminskas who left for the Knicks in the roster of Unicaja.
