Victor Claver spoke about his new beginning with Barcelona, as well as about coach Bartzokas after passing his medical exams for the team.
“I’m very happy. And I had long been thinking about my next stop. Happy to be Barcelona. Playing for this team is a very high demand but also motivates and generates enthusiasm. That‘s what I’m here for, to continue to grow and help all I can.”
About coach Bartzokas: “I know the coach from last season in Lokomotiv. It’s been a good year for us. It was a new team and exceed expectations. I hope that following this line, in Barcelona we can have a similar season and although there are many new features the team can succeed.”
Who infuenced his decision to join Barcelona: “We share a room with Pau [Ribas] in the national team, so I have had a good counselor and a good friend for many years. We’ve spent many years together with Juan Carlos [Navarro] and discussed about how well things are in Barcelona. Always appreciated friends that can help you.”
