Sasha Djordjevic reached a 2 years deal with FC Bayern Munich and will coach the team until summer 2018. Djordjevic is currently in Rio with the Serbian national team but is expected to join Bayern’s training camp in late August.
The coach himself commented on his arrival to Bayern: “I am very happy to be a part of the Bayern association. I am also pleased to be able to continue the work of Svetislav Pesic. We have a long relationship, I was his captain in the junior national team. He was always a teacher and a role model. I know about the seriousness of this project in Munich. I am very satisfied with the roster so far. There are still two players to be added, then the team is complete and we will try to reach for the highest goals in all competitions.“
