Elliot Williams, ex Panathinaikos guard, has agreed with the Golden State Warriors on a one-year deal, a strong partial guarantee by the NBA team.
The 27 years old American was most impressive during his stay in the Greek team. He arrived after being the first scorer of NBDL the past season and his performances with Panathinaikos lived up to that.
The Greek team has offered him a contact of 2 millions per season, but the two sides couldn’t agree on the NBA out option. Williams kept on looking for a contract in the US before reaching a deal with the Warriors. The player has to prove himself during the preparation camp in order to get playing time in the team.
