Fuenlabrada officially announced the return of super-experienced Spanish play maker Carlos Cabezas to its ranks. A “delighted being back for being back in the team” Cabezas signed a one-year contract with the club.
The 35-year old point guard was among the players of Spain’s golden generation that won the 2006 World Championship and the Eurobasket 2009. He spent the previous season in Murcia averaging 6 points and 3 assists per game, helping the club reach the Liga Endesa playoffs.
“I always have the hunger to play and the competitive gene. Fuenlabrada is an exciting project with the challenge of both ACB and Eurocup”, Cabezas also commented after he was announced.
