Spain may have beaten Nigeria, claiming its first victory in Rio, but still has lots of work ahead. Starting from the match vs Lithuania. A “final” as Juan Carlos Navarro describes it.

“Tomorrow we have another final against Lithuania. A team in good shape, a team which beat us twice during preparation. I think we know each other and we know what we can do to hurt them. We must increase our pace for that to happen. Ultimately, I think it will be a nice match”, said Navarro as reported by Mundo Deportivo.

“The match vs Nigeria was a final. Tomorrow’s game against Lithuania is just another final. We are at a threshold because of what happened in the first two games”, commented the captain of the “Furia Roja”. “Yesterday  we took a huge load off us. Our nerves were intense in this game”

“La Bomba” concluded saying that: “Our situation is much better now, no doubt about that. Of course, we struggled against Nigeria and there are things we have to improve if we want to beat Lithuania. A team that is still undefeated”
