In the rematch of the 2014 World Cup Final, USA beat once more Serbia. Still the final score was just 94-91, while Serbia had the last shot and the chance to send the game to overtime.

Entering the last two minutes USA led by five (94-89) and thanks to two free throws by Milos Teodosic the lead was cut to three (94-91) with 78 seconds left of the clock. However, nobody could score after that. Serbia ended up having the last possesion and 5.2 seconds to shoot in order to send the game to overtime, Bogdan Bogdanovic had an open three, but he missed it and USA survived a close call.

Kyrie Irving led the winners with 15 points, Carmelo Anthony made again some crucial plays and scored 12 points, but the defense was not there and no player emerged as the clear leader of a confused team.

On the other hand, Nikola Jokic was amazing with 25 points on 11 out of 15 shots, Serbian captain Milos Teodosic with 18 points (4/7 threes) and 6 assists had a great game and Miroslav Raduljica also scored 18 points.
