During the game against France, Pau Gasol in his fourth appearance in Olympic Games reached two more milestones. The Spanish legend is now the top blocker and the second rebounder in the history of the Games.

Gasol has registered 45 blocks, leaving behind him Croatian Stojan Vrankovic (44) while Russian Andrei Kirilenko (35), Lithuanian Arvydas Sabonis (34) and Americna Pat Ewing (33) follow.

He is also the second rebounder of all time, surpassing Italian Dino Meneghin (214). Arvydas Sabonis (259) is still on the top, while Brazilian Oscar Schmidt (2010), and Puerto Rican Jose Piculin Ortiz (202) complete the top five.
