While Colton Iverson has a contract with Karsiyaka for next season, his future with the team is in question. The Turkish club would love the idea to release or even sell the player.
The team has notified the player about the situation, has a very strict budget and Iverson’s contract which is around $500.000 per season turned out to be more than Karsiyaka can afford. The American big man is practicing by himself and the ideal end of his cooperation with the club will be to found an other team which will be able to cover his contract for next season.
The name of Iverson was mentioned in the recent past in the plans of Maccabi Tel Aviv but at this point it’s questionable if the Israeli club is still interested.
