It was not easy but Crvena Zvezda prevailed in the end over Mega Leks (80-74) in the final of the Vrsac pre-season tournament.
The representatives of Serbia in Euroleague after a first half with ended with the two teams tied at 38, got a 59-52 advantage at the end of the third period and kept it until the final buzzer.
Marko Simonovic led the winners with 18 points, while Branko Lazic and Milko Bjelica added 11 points each. Rade Zagorac with 11 points and 9 rebounds was the best of the losing side which had only nine players available for the game.
