Milos Teodosic spoke to ANA-MPA about his coach Dimitris Itoudis, the new season for CSKA and Dimitris Diamantidis!

CSKA‘s “curse” broke last year and the player believed it could happen right from the beginning. “Coach Itoudis told me to listen to him. We would only win the Euroleague together. I put my trust in his words and he was right! Now it’s harder for me to promise him anything, I can only say I’ll do whatever he asks me to this season.”

“It’s true that the pressure is on us now after winning the Euroleague”, comments Teodosic. “We know we need to try even harder as everyone wants to reach the top. Our mission will be definitely harder, as teams have huge motivation to make it to the final 4 of Euroleague. Everyone wants the trophy”

As for CSKA’s next big target, Teodosic got very descriptive. “I close my eyes and see only one thing. The back to back European trophy. It’s my dream and not many have achieved it.”

In the past, his relation with Dimitris Diamantidis on court was tricky, though the Serbian player has only positive things to say about “3D”. “Dimitris is surely one of the best players in Euroleague the past decade. Many players dream of having such a career. He had offered so much to the game. I’m sorry a player like him has to stop his career and I wish we’d play more games against each other.”
