Gerald Lee left Baskonia‘s preseason training and will be replaced by Kyle Rowley.
The team is considering the possibility of renouncing the tournament in Burgos next weekend due to the absence of international players and to avoid possible injuries.
Sito Alonso currently only has 2 available players from the first team, Rafa Luz and Tadas Sedekerskis, after Rodrigue Beaubois’s injury.
Baskonia‘s roster is not yet finalized, as the team is looking for one more player. The team’s coach has admitted there is an interest for Argentinean Carlos Delfino. Speaking to EFE, he confirmed that Delfino: “Is one of the many players that we have approached”. Considering the return of Delfino in action during the Rio Olympics, it remains to be seen if the veteran forward will play again in Europe.
