The Magic traded Victor Oladipo, Ersan Ilyasova and the draft rights to rookie Domantas Sabonis to the Oklahoma City Thunder for Serge Ibaka who is going to be a free agent in the summer.

Still the Spanish-Congolese big man is not eager to test the market. “I’m looking to stay here to play forever — for [as] many, many years as possible,” he said during the Magic’s media day as the “Orlando Sentinel” reports.

“I’m not really worried about my contract year or my long-term,” Ibaka explained. “One of the things I learned playing on a good team is when the team wins, when you make the playoffs, everybody looks good. So that’s what will be my focus right now, because if we win and make the playoffs, everything will take care of itself.”

It remains to be seen how things will turn out in the next nine months and what will be the choice of Ibaka.
