With a 96 – 81 victory over Intercontinental Cup holders Guaros Lara, Baskonia won the Araba-Alava Saria trophy for the 22th time in the club’s history.

Apart from value held in the victory and the Basques’ offensively lucrative performance, the game was much important for head coach Sito Alonso simply because Andrea Bargnani finally made his debut with the team. The Italian center didn’t stay on court for long and finished the match with 2 points.

The MVP for the winning side was no other than Shane Larkin who scored 18 points for the winners. Adam Hanga followed with 17 while Trevor Cooney and Tornike Shengelia added 14 and 9 respectively.

For Guaros de Lara, Zach Graham dropped 19 points and Luke Martinez 13.
