With Milos Teodosic missing again, Nikita Kurbanov scored 26 points and led CSKA Moscow in the 92-76 road win and the 2-0 record in VTB United league over Astana.
Kurbanov didn’t miss a shot, having made 8 out of 8 field goals and 6 out of 6 free throws. Nando De Colo was also great with 18 points and 8 assists, while James Augustin added 12 points. From the losing side Ousman Krubally had an impressive double double (19 p., 12 r.) but it was not enough.
After this game CSKA Moscow and Unics Kazan are tied on the top of the league standings with a 2-0 record, while Astana follows at 1-2, being the only team so far with three games under its belt.
