AEK has announced the departure of Josh Owens from the team, as Karsiyaka has finally acquired him and let go of Josh Boone.

As per the official statement of the Greek club:

“AEK announces the termination of Josh Owens’ contract. The team wishes the American player best of luck in the next step of his career.

Additionally, the team has worked fast to be reinforced with the addition of American center Randal Falker until the end of the season.”

Falker is a Southern Illinois College graduate and he began his professional career in 2008 in the French championship with Cholet, where he stayed until 2012. His next stop was Besiktas in the 2012-2013 season. The center played in 11 games in the Turkish championship, averaging 2.4 points και 3.2 rebounds.

In summer 2013, he returned to the French league for Sluc Nancy until the end of the previous season.
