Driven an excellent defensive output during the first half and by preserving what was theirs in the second, Lokomotiv Kuban got the job done 72 – 64 against Olimpija Lubjana on the road.

Coach Katsikaris’ players forced their opponents to shoot with 30% from the field, an extremely poor percentage, especially given the fact that Olimpija was playing at home.

Kenny Gabriel paced Lokomotiv Kuban with 17 points, 4 rebounds plus 3 steals while Evgeny Baburin and Ryan Broekhoff added 10 points each.

Nikola Jankovic best performer for the Slovenian team with a double-double of 16 points and 10 rebounds. Gregor Hrovat had 10 points.
