With less than a minute left for the end of the first half in the match between Galatasaray and CSKA Moscow in Istanbul, fans in “Abdi Ipekci” became perhaps a bit too… heated.
Justin Dentmon was called with a technical foul for flopping, a decision that infuriated the fans of the hosts. Some of them began throwing objects at the referees which prompted the latter to disrupt the game and head to the locker rooms.
Galatasaray captain Sinan Guler tried to calm the fans of his team down and ultimately the three officials came back for the match to be resumed.
