At the deadline of the contract extension, one more European player entered the $100 million club, after Giannis Antetokounmpo. As the Vertical reports, the French center is finalizing a deal with the Utah Jazz.
His contract is expected to be similar with that of Giannis and also to the one that Steven Adams is ready to sign with the Oklahoma City Thunder. One step behind them is Victor Oladipo who is expected to sign a $84 million deal.
Oladipo was the no2 pick of the 2013 draft, Gobert was no27, Adams no12 and Giannis Antetokounmpo the 15th pick. An other member of the 2013 class from Europe, no17 of the draft German Dennis Schroder, has signed recently a $70 million extension. All those deals will be activated from the 2017-18 season and will last until the summer of 2021.
