After a tough loss to Real Madrid on Thursday night, Galatasaray took down Trabzonspor at home with 90-84.
Trabzonspor was quite competitive and even led after the first quarter with 18-19. Things started getting heated for Galatasaray in the second period with Blake Schilb leading his team. At halftime, the hosts were only up with one point, 41-40.
In the second half, Galatasaray started pulling away with a safe deficit, though the visitors weren’t willing to give up. Sinan Guler contributed a lot to the hosts and helped his team keep a 4-point lead entering the final period.
With 2 minutes left, Galatasaray expanded the lead to 8 points and sealed the win. For the winners Schilb led with 24 points, Justin Dentmon added 18, Vladimir Micov 15 and Guler 11.
