Panathinaikos improved its record in the Greek Basket League to 4 – 1 after beating Doxa Lefkadas 73 – 46 on the road with a comfort that is shown in the final score.

The Greens more or less “finished” the match in the first half when Antonis Fotsis’ buzzer beating three-pointer sent them to the locker rooms with an advantage of 19 points, 41 – 22.

Coach Pascual’s players kept the same intensity in their defensive game facing no problem whatsoever until the end, with Nick Calathes (11 points, 6 assists), Giannis Bourousis (12 points, 6 rebounds) and James Gist (13 points) dropping double-digit numbers.

This was the fourth defeat for First division newcomers Doxa Lefkadas that saw Justin Robertson scoring 12 points and Melham Basabe adding 9 plus 9 rebounds.
