No-one unbeaten in the French Pro A championship. Monaco (6-1) was the only team with a perfect record but Nancy didn’t care about streaks and the such.

On the contrary, by cancelling the Monegasques’ main weapons, they forced them to their first defeat in the season. A precious result for them since they managed to double their victories and improve their place (2-5) in the standings a bit.

Monaco has company in the first place, sharing it with Orthez (6-1). The team from Pau outplayed Le Portel (2-5) away from home thanks to the… insane creation skills of DJ. Cooper (18 assists).

Meanwhile, the downfall continues for the defending champion and last season’s finalist. Villeurbanne (3-4) forced an OT vs Nanterre (5-2) after a stunning comeback but fell short in the extra period, while Strasbourg (2-5) was narrowly beaten by Gravelines Dunkerque (3-4).
