A quick and strong recovery was all that Anadolu Efes needed after its Euroleague defeat by Olimpia Milano. Through a powerful 98 – 74 display against Buyukcekmece, Velimir Persovic’s players accomplished their goal, staying perfect in the Turkish league.

Even without the play-making mojo of Thomas Heurtel, Efes was capably led by the force of its youngsters. Cedi Osman dropped 17 points, while Furkan Korkmaz added 14, making all sorts of trouble for the opposing defense.

DeShaun Thomas with 16 points and Bryce Cotton with 13 were also distinguished by the winning side which finished the game with 34/51 2-point shots (66%) and 27 assists, taking advantage of Buyukcekmece’s 21 turnovers.

The guests couldn’t hope for much with so many mistakes in such a difficult road gam. Kenneth Hayes scored 16 points and Osins Eldridge plus Kahem Seawright added 14 apiece.
