It was all fun and celebrations for Baskonia on Friday after the grand victory against Fenerbahe but there was no continuation to them after today’s Spanish League match.

With a fantastic Antoine Diot having a career night in Liga Endesa with 28 points and 6 assists, Valencia (5-2) had a superlative offensive performance to outplay the Basques 99 – 91, climbing up in the third place of the standings and leaving Sito Alonso’s team at the fourth spot.

Shane Larkin had another brilliant output for Baskonia(5-3) with 26 points and 8 assists but his team generally lacked defensive consistency. Especially on Diot.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid (6 – 1) and Barcelona (6 – 1) proceeded with victories against Tenerife (6-2) and Murcia (2-6) respectively, while Unicaja Malaga (5-3) crushed Real Betis (3-4) to climb in the third place, holding hands with Valencia.
