Brose Bamberg had 24 seconds and the last possession in the game in order to get the win. It was not enough. Thanks to big bucket by Charles Jenkins who finished the game with 10 points, Crvena Zvezda who also had the help of many of its fans in Germany, got the 79-78 road win.
Darius Miller who scored 14 points for the hosts missed his last two shots and couldn’t seal the win or save the day for Brose Bamberg.
The guests ended the first half leading 38-29, but with a partial 32-20 score in the third period, Brose Baskets got the lead back 61-58. The game started all over again and it was decided on details in the last seconds.
The Serbs got a one point advantage (72-71) entering the last four minutes, but Miller answered with a three (74-72). Marko Simonovic tied the game at 74 and everything was open in the last two minutes.
After a missed shot by Miller, while the hosts were up by one (78-77), Jenkins gave the lead to Zvezda (79-78) with 24 seconds left and that shot ended up deciding the game as Miller failed to be the hero of the night.
