Crvena Zvezda beat Olimpia Milano at home with 83-70 and improved to 4-4, same as the Italian team.

Early on, Ognjen Kuzmic led Crvena Zvezda inside the paint, with Miroslav Ruduljica not being able to catch up with him. Mantas Kalnietis initiated Olimpia’s reaction and with a couple personals shots he made the score 14-19. In the second period, Marko Simonovic put ona show for the Serbian team and by halftime he had made 4 3-pointers, as his team led 37-32.

In the second half, the hosts started pulling away, executing even more deadly shots from the 3-point line. Olimpia couldn’t match the tempo and was down 54-46 after 30 minutes. In the final period of the game, the Serbian team safeguarded a double digit difference with a long distance shot by Nate Wolters at 35′ (66-53) and never allowed a comeback to its Italian opponents.

Simonovic finished the game with 23 points (5/9 3pts) and 6 rebounds, leading Zvezda to this great win. Wolters contributed 14 points and 6 assists.

For Milano, Alessandro Gentile scored 14 points and grabbed 5 rebounds.
