In the 7th week of the Israeli league, Maccabi Tel Aviv beat Hapoel Jerusalem with 83-85 and Joe Alexander saved his team in the final seconds!
After last week’s defeat, Maccabi bounced back and holds a 6-1 record plus the first spot in the standings.
For the winners, D.J. Seeley led with 17 points, Goudelock and Sylven Landesberg shared 11, while Sonny Weems had 10.
Former Maccabi forward was the first scorer for Hapoel with 14 points, while Amar’e Stoudemire and Jerome Dyson scored 13 points each and Bar Timor added 12.
