Darussafaka beat TED Kolejliler at home with 71-62 and improved to 4-3 in the Turkish league standings after 7 weeks of action. The latter is the only team in the league that has yet to grab a victory.

Though David Blatt’s team was dominant for most of the game, the visitors still pressed and were close at halftime, as Darussafaka only led by 2, 35-33.

The score was close during the second half, though with James Anderson and Birkan Batuk, the hosts eventually grabbed the win.

For Darussafaka, Anderson had a double double with 14 points and 10 rebounds, Batuk had 14 points and 5 rebounds, Oguz Savas followed with 12 points and 5 rebounds, while Marcus Slaughter scored 10 points and grabbed 9 boards. Dairis Bertans and Will Clyburn shared 8 points.

For TED Kolejliler, Devin Thomas was the first scorer with 19 points and 7 rebounds.
