Javier Beiran with a shot that was almost a buzzer beater gave to Iberostar Tenerife the big 73-72 road win over Baskonia. Tenerife has now a 8-2 record, while the hosts are left at 6-4 in the Spanish Liga Endesa.
French guard Rodrigue Beaubois with 8 seconds left and gave the 72-71 lead to Baskonia but it was not enough as the hosts come back and tried to “steal” a game during which the guests were in control for most time. Davin White with 17 points led a balanced offensive effort for the winners while Beiran and Aaron Doornekamp added 10 points each.
Shane Larkin scored 23 points for the hosts and Andrea Bargnani had 13, but this numbers were not enough.
