The completion of Day 10 in Spanish League brought many interesting changes in the standings, both at the top and… lower.

Real Madrid (8-1) now stands all alone at the first place after doing its job against struggling Manresa (1-8) and then graciously accepting a… gift arriving from Malaga. That’s where Unicaja beat Barcelona (7-2) in overtime, knocking them down to the third place while the Andalusians climbed at the fourth spot.

Meanwhile, Tenerife (8-2) took a huge road win vs Baskonia (6-4), showing that perhaps they are something more than the “pleasant” surprise in this season’s Liga Endesa. The team from Gran Canaria continues being second as only Real Madrid has a better percentage in victories/defeats.

After today’s results, there’s a three-way tie in the fourth place among Unicaja Malaga, Valencia and Bilbao who all stand at 6-3 record.
