Noone there to put a disturb Crvena Zvezda‘s march in ABA League, since the defending champs continue winning game after game. Red Star now beat Union Olimpija 85 – 67 in Slovenia to expand its impeccable record to 11-0.

The game was balanced only for the first half (41 – 43 for Crvena Zvezda), since the Serbian team fired up its engines after returning from the locker rooms, gaining a double-digit lead, 56 – 68, in the end of the third quarter and then simply increasing it per its will.

Ognejn Kuzmic was unstoppable inside the paint with 20 points plus 9 rebounds while Stefan Jovic added 15 points along with 6 assists and Marko Guduric 14 points plus 4 assists. For Olimpija Lubjana (3-7), Brandon Jefferson finished the game with 18 points plus 5 rebounds.

What was arguably the surprise of the Week in ABA, took place in Skopje where league newcomer Karpos Sokoli (2-9) delivered a huge upset against Cedevita (7-4) thanks to a superb all-around output by Zoran Vrkic. This result sends the Croatians to the fourth place of the standings, while the team from FYROM still struggles in the last spot. Perhaps not for long.

Buducnost (10-1) remains second after a successful venture in Serbia vs FMP (3-8) while Partizan (8-3) is now alone in the third position thanks to a victory over seventh Mega Leks (4-7).
