A comfortably victory for the Russian powerhouse which made its intentions clear right from the start.

Alexey Shved and Earl Rowland dropped 14 points each and combined for 10 assists, while Mekell Brown and Robbie Hummel added 13 apiece as Khimki Moscow comfortably beat Parma 92 – 66, improving its VTB League record to 6 – 1.

It was a beautiful teamwork effort by coach Dusko Ivanovic’s players who utilized their superior offensive power in the best possible way against their opponents that remain winless in championship.

In fact, Khimki made its point quite early, entering the match all guns blazing to finish the first quarter ahead 32 – 12 and then simply increasing its lead more and more as the game progressed. Parma couldn’t react and only managed to outscore its hosts in the fourth quarter (13 – 23) when all was said and done.

Maksim Dybovskii had 15 points and Sergey Chernov 12 for the losing side.

In other VTB League news, Avtodor Saratov (2-7) returned to victories after crushing Kalev Tallinn (2-7) 90 – 63 behind 17 points and 6 rebounds by Vince Hunter. Earlier, Lokomotiv Kuban (7-2) continued its winning streak by downing Astana (5-4) 71 – 51 on the road.
