Entering the last quarter, Banvit had a 56-54 lead on the road against Fenerbahce. However, when it was all done, the hosts got the close 76-71 win, by finishing the job right on the last period. After this result the team of Zeljko Obradovic has a streak of 24 home wins in the Turkish BSL league.

Nikola Kalinic with 16 points, Ekpe Udoh with 14 and 9 rebounds, Kostas Sloukas with 14 points and 7 assists and Bobby Dixon with 10 were the top scorers of a balanced team effort.

From the losing side Gediminas Orelik scored 22 points and had 7 rebounds. Gasper Vidmar scored 13 points, the leader of Banvit, American point guard Jordan Theodore added 11 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists, while Can Maxim Mutaf had 13 points and 6 assists. The two teams have now a 8-2 record and they are tied on the top spot of the standings with Besiktas, followed by Anadolu Efes (9-1).
