After what he called “one of the worst nights of Maccabi Tel Aviv”, coach Rami Hadar resigned today. From last night it was obvious that his days with the club were numbered.

However the club announced today that Hadar was not fired, but he decided to part ways with the team. After all he initially got the job on interim basis on the 23rd of October, after the team sacked Erez Edelstein.

Former player and until now assistant on the team Lior Lubin will be the new interim coach, however Maccabi is on the market in order to add an other coach. The names of Jonas Kazlauskas, Panagiotis Giannakis and Svetislav Pesic are often mentioned as candidates but so far no offer was made to anyone.
