Zeljko Obradovic was highly critical against the referees of the game between Fenerbahce and Darussafaka Dogus, particularly emphasizing on the second technical foul that Jan Vesely received and caused him to miss the last 18 minutes of the match.

Vesely‘ second technical foul was a very bad call for all EuroLeague,” said the Serbian coach in the post game press conference. “Semih (Erden) pushed him with both hands and he also took an elbow blow on his head. Euroleague exists because of the players. And the referees ejected a very important player for us. The referee that ejected Vesely is very honest and a good official. Players make mistakes. But what about the referees’ mistakes? I mean both their mistakes that affect the game and the players.”

Obradovic congratulated Darussafaka for the victory, mentioning that, “We have to change very clearly. In terms of motivation and reaction. We need to change everything. We have to be concentrated when we are playing. My players are basketball players and they need to understand that.”
